Importer checklist
- Confirm the manufacturer and product identifiers are consistent
- Verify required DPP data can be provided before placing covered products on the market
- Define who registers and maintains the passport
- Keep commodity code and customs-facing data aligned
- Build supplier contracts around structured data, not PDF attachments alone
