A portable CSV is a practical starting point for manufacturers whose product data still lives across emails, PDFs and ERP exports.
Starter columns
product_id,sku,product_name,gtin,manufacturer,country_of_origin,materials,supplier_ids,compliance_docs,repair_info,end_of_life_info
This is a generic readiness template, not a legally complete sector schema.
Before importing
- One stable product ID per row
- Consistent units and controlled values
- Supplier IDs instead of free-text names where possible
- Consistent document references
